You are not just living near the beach.

You are living near people who are on vacation, celebrating birthdays, attending conferences, checking into suites, checking out late, waiting for Ubers, asking where the lobby bar is, and treating the sidewalk like part of their itinerary.

That hotel energy gives Mid Beach a sense of movement that many people love.

It also means the neighborhood does not always feel purely residential, even when you technically live there full-time and know which pharmacy aisle has the good sunscreen.
