Brigadeiros is brazillian tradition. The story of the brigadeiro starts during the presidential campaign of Mr. Brigadeiro Eduardo Gomes in 1945. At events of the campaign they would serve chocolate mixed with condensed milk. This became a part of the candidates' promotion and, although he did not win the election, he had a big influence in making the most beloved! OH MY GOSH! Brigadeiros is the first Brigadeiro boutique in Florida. Their intention is to bring a unique and innovative twist on a traditional Brigadeiro and cappuccinos. They offer a variety of Brigadeiros, coffees, cake jars, and some of the most unique desserts you'll ever see.

Azucar ice cream and sorbet flavors use high quality, all natural ingredients. They buy their ruby red mamey down the street at the los piñarenos fruit stand and their sweet platanos maduros are hand-prepared at el nuevo siglo grocery store. Whenever possible, they use locally grown, seasonal fruits and vegetables from South Florida farmer's markets and Redland, Florida growers. The concept for their ice cream store came out of the love for their abuela and admiration for Miami's little havana neighborhood and what it represents.
