Coral Gables is a bustling financial and cultural district in Miami but what sets it apart from the rest is that it is also home to a number of unique old-world flavor of Mediterranean Revival architecture. From the 1920s Venetian Pool, carved from a rock quarry, with its grottoes, towers and bridge, to the Merrick House which is the restored childhood home of city founder George Merrick, going to the collections at Lowe Art Museum that includes Cuban and Caribbean works, the places to visit are vast! Church of the Little Flower

The Church of the Little Flower is a Roman Catholic church in Coral Gables, Florida founded in 1926. The church's domed 1951 building was constructed in Spanish Renaissance style, in keeping with the Mediterranean Revival architecture for which Coral Gables is noted for.

Venetian Pool

Venetian Pool is a historic U.S. public swimming pool located in Coral Gables, Florida. Completed in 1924, it was designed by Phineas Paist with Denman Fink. Today, it is still an aquatic facility unlike any other in the country. It has been enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world, and is still one of the main tourist attractions for those visiting the City of Coral Gables. The 820,000 gallon pool is fed with spring water from an underground aquifer. In the spring and summer seasons, the pool is filled and drained daily!

Merrick House

The Coral Gables Merrick House (also known as the Merrick House or Merrick Manor) is a historic house located at 907 Coral Way in Coral Gables, Florida. It was originally constructed as the family residence of George E. Merrick, founder of the city of Coral Gables. On April 13, 1973, it was added to the National Register of Historic Places, and since then it has been restored to its 1925 appearance by the City of Coral Gables, and is open to the public for tours twice a week.

Lowe Art Museum

The Lowe Art Museum is an art museum located in Coral Gables, Florida, a Miami suburb in Miami-Dade County. It opened in 1950 and is operated by the University of Miami. It was originally established by a gift from philanthropists Joe and Emily Lowe. At the time it opened, it was the first art museum in South Florida. The Lowe Art Museum touches lives and builds communities by serving as a laboratory for learning, a place for engagement and enrichment, and a site for self-discovery.

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden

Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is an 83-acre botanic garden, with extensive collections of rare tropical plants including palms, cycads, flowering trees, and vines. This garden is dedicated to exploring, explaining and conserving the world of tropical plants. Fairchild is one of the premier conservation and education-based gardens in the world and a recognized international leader in both Florida and international conservation.
