Brickell or Edgewater?

Brickell and Edgewater are two extremely popular neighborhoods people have in mind when they think about Miami.

There's only a 10-minute drive from each other, but they are very, very, very different.

Whichever direction you choose to go in, we are always here to help you find your next home!

BRICKELL

Brickell is known as the ‘Manhattan of the South.’

It is the headquarters for many banks and financial centers for Latin America, and thus brings with it the ‘hustle and bustle’ you commonly see in Manhattan and Wall Street.

So, it is very similar to Manhattan, but it is significantly cleaner.

You are not going to see hundreds of trash bags on the side of the road for “garbage pickup.”

Additionally, the views are more tropical, as you are just along Biscayne Bay, and if you get a unit high enough, you can see South Beach, Fisher Island, and Coconut Grove.

Brickell is a great place for people that love to walk and do not want to have a car- or if they do- to only use it on the weekends.

It is also famed for its accredited restaurants, rooftops, clubs and bars, and of course, Brickell City Center.

Brickell City Center is an upscale, outdoor, modern mall that was designed and created by Swire Properties, which has built countless towers in Hong Kong.

Brickell City Centre has over 100 stores, a high-end movie theater, and a mini golf course coming soon.

Brickell is perfect for someone who loves to be in the center of it all and never has to leave!

If you want clean, polished, and easy living, then Brickell is the place for you.

EDGEWATER

Edgewater gets its name because it is literally on the EDGE of the water.

There is no need to cross a bridge or sit in traffic.

It is just a 5-minute walk from Midtown and a 10-minute walk from Wynwood and the Design District- Miami’s version of Rodeo Drive.

If you are in the right building here, you will have sweeping bay views of all of Miami Beach.

Edgewater itself spans from 15th street all the way to 36th street, so the radius is significantly larger than Brickell, making it feel less dense and more spread out.

It depends on what your preference is as to if you would like Edgewater more or Brickell more.

Edgewater has more of a laid-back, beachy vibe, with kickass views.

Edgewater is perfect for someone who wants to be a few minutes away from everything but lives just outside of the commotion.

Edgewater is young, sexy, growing, and in my opinion, one of the best places for future appreciation and growth.

If Brickell, Edgewater, or anywhere else in the world resonates with you, my information is below and I would love to help you find your special place in the world.
