Are you ready to peek into the crystal ball of the FUTURE?
I'm no clairvoyant, but there's a MASSIVE project in store for the communities of Little Haiti and Little River — and it involves an 18-acre development, new dining spots, endless career opportunities, exciting cultural experiences, and vibrant, cutting-edge living!
Yes, folks, I'm talking about Miami-Dade's ULTIMATE masterplan, the Magic City Innovation District, a 15-year evolution project for Little Haiti and Little River!
Proposed, planned, and overseen by Plaza Equity Partners, a Miami-based real estate development and investment firm led by Neil Fairman, Anthony Burns, and George Helmstetter, the Magic City Innovation District lays out a plan for long-term growth across multiple verticals, attracting not just new interest from locals but also national and global businesses, cultural icons, start-ups and entrepreneurs, and other leading industries!
We're talking bix-box stores, a new Tri-Rail station, cutting-edge office spaces, including a tower for Motorsport Network, and 349 luxury apartment units with 13,200 square feet of ground floor retail space and a laundry list of world-class amenities — with MORE soon to come!
Once Magic City Innovation District is completed, it's set to bring in $27M in District Marginal Revenue, $31M in Developer Contribution for the Little Haiti Revitalization Trust Fund, $188M in Future Expenditures from residents, guests, hotel visitors, office users, and retailers, and 11,680 direct and indirect full-time jobs!
Safe to say, this life-changing project is like NOTHING we've ever seen!

Little Haiti Receives Another Affordable Mega Housing Proposal!

When: 2034
Just in — the Swerdlow Group, in collaboration with AJ Capital Partners, has unveiled plans for a $3 billion mixed-use public housing project, and it's poised to become one of Little Haiti's and Miami's most significant developments!
Albeit still awaiting approval, the said mixed-use project is said to span 65 acres across the neighborhoods of Little Haiti and Little River, introducing nearly 5,000 affordable housing units by redeveloping and expanding Swerdlow Group's four existing public housing projects on a grand scale, with a cost estimated at $2.6 billion!
Aside from multiple residential developments, 1,400 of which are tailored for low to very low-income households, the planned development will incorporate retail and extensive green spaces, including a new Home Depot store and 700,000 square feet of parks and recreational areas.
