What's new in Buena Vista?

I've all the juicy "deets" for anyone who wants to know!

With its seamless blend of HIP and HERITAGE and its picture-perfect location moments from the Miami Design District, all eyes are on Buena Vista — and now, this charming urban community is giving us MORE REASONS to feel enchanted!

New affordable developments, stylish residences, trendy eats, and more — with these new Buena Vista updates in the pipeline, you can imagine opportunities and adventures in store!

Here are 3 things new to watch for in Buena Vista.

(1)

Workforce and student housing developments on the rise?

Where: around Buena Vista (TBA)

When: TBA

Due to Buena Vista's influx in population, several developers and businesses have requested rezoning changes for planned multistory residential developments in the community.

And while residents worry these developments can alter the face and FUTURE of Buena Vista, the proposals aim to aid South Florida's current housing crisis with affordable workforce and student housing, alongside a registration and parent center and a 25.97-acre development for residential, commercial, civic and industrial use, Sabal Palm Village!

Will the housing and mixed-use constructions push through?

Only time will tell, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!

Two Food Spots Are Adding A "New Flavor" To Buena Vista's Dining Scene

Where: 5020 N.E. 2nd Ave., Miami, FL 33137 & 4702 N.E. 2nd Ave., Miami, FL 33137

When: Happening Now!

Just when you thought Buena Vista's diverse dining scene couldn't get any better, it welcomes two new food destinations offering irresistible culinary treasures from Italy, France, the Mediterranean, and Argentina — La Màrtola and Michelin-Starred Casa Vigil!

Opening their doors to Buena Vista locals last February and January, La Màrtola and Casa Virgil have changed the neighborhood's entire dining makeup with delicious dishes like wood-fired pizza, delectable seafood entrees, a five-course tasting menu with wine pairing, and sweet desserts to wash the palate off!

And the good news is they're here to stay!

A New Community Is Unveiling — And It's Right In The Heart Of Upper Buena Vista!

Where: 5040 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33137

When: TBA

While this new Upper Buena Vista development is still "hush-hush," with little to no details about the residential units, sizes, and amenities, Upper Buena Vista has already posted a teaser on its website to keep us invested, and we're all for it!

According to the website, the proposed development will be a partnership between UBV Residences and Aguasanta and a showcase of serene living harmonizing a peaceful ambiance with a distinct selection of residences!

Oooh, intriguing!

Stay tuned for updates!
