Maya was born and raised in Miami. She currently lives in Southern California while attending Chapman University. However, her love for the city has only grown since experiencing life elsewhere. Graduating later this year, she hopes to gain as much experience as possible before venturing into the Public Relations field.

Being a 20-year-old, she is experienced with social media and hopes to tie this into her PR work. As a member of the yearbook staff for seven years, she developed her passion for creative storytelling to emotionally connect to others.

In her free time, she likes to spend time with family and friends. She is constantly searching for new foods and restaurants while exploring the city of Miami.
